Adaptive Yoga with Kendra Coupland

For Queer, Disabled Folks

This gentle class blends slow and intentional movement with breathwork and meditation.

Without any particular goals or destination, we will explore a meandering practice that cultivates self-awareness and well-being through calm and neutral self-observation.

What to Expect:

Participants have the option of practicing from a mat, chair, or wheelchair and are invited to go at their own pace using props and modifications to provide an accessible yoga experience for every body. The small class size ensures more room for individual attention and modifications to be provided.

If you know your access needs ahead of time we kindly ask that you communicate them to us 1-2 weeks ahead of time so that we can do our best to make the necessary accommodations. Please note that while we do our best to accommodate everyone, there may be conflicting or competing access needs that limit our ability to meet everyone’s needs in one space.

Please refer to our accessibility protocol on the Vancouver Pride Global Wellness Hub website which includes a Q+A about this class. If you have other questions about accessibility or have a specific health concern, you can contact Kendra directly at hello[at]kendracoupland.com
