What roles are available for volunteers?
Working behind the scenes with Vancouver Pride Society offers a learning experience in large-scale event production, stage management, guest experience, and so much more. You’ll be able to sign up for a variety of roles, including:
Set-up/Take-down Crew
Accessibility Team
Event Support Team
Stage Production Assistants
Merchandise Assistants
Events Hosts
Volunteer Care Crew
Photographers/Videographers

What kind of events will I be involved in?
Aside from our Pride Parade and Festival, we also offer a variety of events throughout the year such as East Side Pride, Winter Pride, Unicorn Ball, Drag Deliveries, Licensed Lounges, and other events we do in partnership with local queer community organizers.
If big crowds aren’t your thing, don’t worry! There are a variety of opportunities to meet everyone’s interests, such as crafting nights, poetry slams, fundraisers, and other pre-event preparation activities.
How do I sign-up to Better Impact?
For starters, log into your account on Better Impact. here.
Once you are in your account, Along the top there should be an "Opportunities Tab."
Click the "Opportunities Tab."
If you scroll down from here, you will find the different positions available.
Click on the various opportunities that you wish to sign up for.
It will show you available time slots and the days you can sign up for.
Sign up + confirm and you're good to go!
