Bubly Davie Street Lounge
The Bubly Davie Street Lounge came BACK and will be hosting a series of dynamic events from July 26 to August 4, kicking off with the unforgettable opening ceremony led by local Indigenous icon Jaylene Tyme. This venue is going to be transformed into a hub of queer creativity and expression within our community. Programming includes takeovers by Babes on Babes, Latincouver, WhiskeyJacks, Francoqueers, the West End Seniors Network and performances by local icons Virago Nation, Juicy Gems, House of Lola and VNDS ‘24 winner, Androgynass!

First Aid
There will be staff members trained in First Aid. All of the Vancouver Pride Society staff will have Naloxone training prior to the event.
Security
The security company Genesis will be onsite for the entire duration of the event. If you are experiencing issues with security, please connect with a VPS staff member onsite.
Public Transport
The event will not obstruct Translink bus stops. Here are some routes to the Bubly Davie St Lounge:
Public transport: The closest bus is the #6 route (stopping Davie St at Bute)
18 minute walk from the Burrard Street skytrain station
The fastest route from the Burrard street skytrain station is taking the 002 Bus to Burrard and Davie, and walking 6 minutes down Davie Street, or then catching the 006 bus from Davie/ Thurlow.
Parking & Street Closures
There is limited street parking along Davie Street ranging from $6.00 to $30. See parkopedia for parking options.
Bute Street will be closed to traffic from Davie St to See-Em-Ia laneway from July 25th to August 9th. Sidewalks will remain open and will not be blocked bu event infrastructure.
Underground paid parking is available at 1237 Davie St but it does not offer accessible parking stalls or elevator access
Shade and Shelter
The area will have umbrellas at most tables, offering shade. Other seating will be shaded by trees.
Low Sensory Zone
There will be designated tables available which are distanced from the bar and speakers. Earplugs are available by request at the check-in table.
Sensory Aids
Fidget toys are available by request at the check-in table.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at the event.
Washroom:
Gender neutral portable washroom facilities will be available. The unit door width is 31.7" (830mm) and the seat height is 19" (521mm).
Scent Reduction
Scent Reduction Policy in effect. Avoid wearing perfume and strong scents as much as possible.
Masks
Masks are not required, but are available by request at the check-in table.
Tables & Seating
Various seating options are available. All events have disability priority seating.

Bar accepts cash, debit and credit via Square.
Mobility
There will be a flat paved surface and there will be an aisle that is 4 feet wide running down the event.
Wayfinding
Wayfinding signage will be displayed throughout the site. Braille menus available at the bar.
