Vancouver Pride Society does not comment on issues or stories without an official request. As a non-profit organization we do our best to facilitate all media inquiries.

Request a Media Pass for the 2024 Vancouver Pride Festival and Parade

Those requesting media passes for the 2023 Vancouver Pride Festival must fill out the form below to be accredited. Requests will only be accepted until July 21, 2024. Once approved, media passes must be picked up from the Vancouver Pride office by July 25, 2024.

Ground Rules for Media at Pride

Please review our on-site media guidelines before filling out the Media Pass Accreditation form below.

Media should not interview performers 20 minutes before their show. To prevent large gaps, do not stop the parade or stand in front of moving floats for photo opportunities.

Move out of the way

Hundreds of people volunteer for the Vancouver Pride Parade and Festivals every year. Without volunteers, there would be no Pride events.

Respect our volunteers

Not all Pride attendees are open to having their photograph taken. Please ask when taking photos of individuals in less crowded locations.

Respect our guests

When looking for good vantage points please be aware of your own safety and that of our equipment. Climbing on equipment is prohibited and could result in revocation of your media pass, and you will be held personally liable for any damages incurred.

Think safe

Vancouver Pride asks that you send us your photographs and share your experience with Pride. We feature the work of photographers every year in print and digital media, as well as our archives. Photographers will be credited for their work. Please submit photos to communications@vancouverpride.ca.
